Our Story

After 25 years as a theatre, film and TV producer and EP, Olivia Wingate founded Wingate Media in the summer of 2017 to focus on developing projects across Film, Theatre, Audio and TV. Wingate is devoted to identifying and nurturing strong POVs and projects with intention, originality and global relevance.

At Wingate Media, we are passionate about the creatives we partner with and the stories we choose to tell.

We collaborate with both new and established talent, in front of and behind the camera, creating packages that feel fresh and unique.

We devise creative strategies around every project, pulling from our experience/best practices across all media.

Our aim is to foster creative excellence, and provoke debate/thought, as well as to entertain and create projects with commercial potential.

At Wingate Media we capitalize on our history of incubating projects in other media, including Theatre, Live Performance, Scripted Audio, Journalism and Books, to ensure maximum leverage/creative control for our projects, ensuring our projects are developed and has momentum behind it before sharing with buyers and financiers.
