Card-carrying, long-suffering feminist comedians Merrill Markoe and Megan Koester take us through the history of womanhood, topic by topic, using their unique combination of hard facts and dark comedy (or vice versa!) to try to explain for us all “Wait, how did we get here?”

Based on the audible podcast, The Indignities of Being a Woman, this is a sharply comedic factual series outlining the lamentable history of female existence. 

Tonally it will feel as if DRUNK HISTORY, SAMANTHA BEE and MONTY PYTHON had a post #metoo Google session.

Created and written by Merrill Markoe and Megan Koester. Markoe is a multi-award-winning comedy writer whose credits span television, magazines, and books. She has four Emmy Awards, one for each of her dogs. Koester has written for VICE, Jezebel and the Guardian and has NUMEROUS basic cable acting credits.
